Your Photos

Your photos are only used to create the personalized book for you. They are never shared with unauthorized third parties and are never used for promotional purposes.

• If you do not place an order, your photos and preview are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
• If you save a preview or place an order, your photos and generated book pages are kept for up to 12 months so you can revisit your preview or request reprints, then deleted automatically.

You can ask us to delete your photos and personal data at any time by emailing support@makeastory.app. We will delete all uploaded photos, generated book pages, and personal data linked to your preview or order.

Information We Collect

• Child information: name, age, interests, and language preference you provide when creating a book.
• Photos: photos you upload for personalization, used solely to generate your book's illustrations.
• Contact details: email address and phone number collected at checkout.
• Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider. We never store card details.
• Shipping address: collected at checkout for physical book delivery.
• Usage data: standard web logs, IP addresses, and browser information.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalized storybook and illustrations.
• To process and fulfill your order (printing and shipping).
• To send order confirmation and shipping update emails.
• To respond to customer support inquiries.

We do not use your data or photos for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond creating your book.

Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver our service — including payment processing, printing, and email delivery. Your data is only shared with these providers to the extent necessary to fulfill your order. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
